BlueBird at Smart City Expo World Congress 2025

This year, BlueBird was proudly showcased at the CIMNE stand during the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC) 2025, one of the world’s leading events for urban innovation.

The stand offered a fantastic opportunity to present how BlueBird is rethinking buildings as active players in the energy system, unlocking their potential as energy flexibility assets.

Visitors at the CIMNE stand discovered how BlueBird’s toolset will:

• Provide multi-carrier flexibility services for buildings, integrating energy and non-energy carriers.
• Enable trading between buildings and energy market players (TSOs, DSOs, aggregators).
• Demonstrate real-world applications in 7 pilot sites across Europe from residential to industrial buildings.
• Support the EU Green Deal’s ambition for a climate-neutral energy system.
