Le clos de la hulle and BlueBird: energy innovation comes to life in Profondeville
In Profondeville, Le Clos de la Hulle, a rural and family-oriented neighborhood of 20 apartments (4 buildings), is becoming a concrete example in energy and ecology. Developed with the property developer Develop, the ambition is clear: to offer reliable and affordable energy. This project is a central pillar of the BlueBird initiative, aiming to redefine our energy future.

At the heart of the BlueBird project, Le Clos de la Hulle serves as the testing ground for building an intelligent and participatory energy future. Our targeted actions include:
- Optimization of hybrid heating systems: we are technically and economically refining these systems for optimal grid integration, by precisely analyzing user behavior. The goal: maximum efficiency, minimal costs.
- Active occupant engagement: resident participation is crucial. By involving them, we maximize the efficiency of thermal optimizations and strengthen the overall ecological impact of the project.
- Intelligent extension of the thermal network: we are studying how to extend the neighborhood's thermal energy network without increasing the initial production capacity. A true challenge of efficiency and optimal resource use.

These steps at Le Clos de la Hulle contribute directly to an integrated energy flexibility model, designed by and for users. Le Clos de la Hulle is thus transforming into a showcase demonstrating that it is possible to combine modern comfort, ecological responsibility, and energy cost control. It's a significant step towards more resilient and energy-autonomous communities.
